Our expert biking guides will meet you at your hotel this morning to fit you with your bikes and provide a thorough briefing on the day’s adventure. We will pedal directly from the hotel and head inland. After a nice warm up of about 12km we’ll stop at an impressive Masseria from the 15th century for an olive oil tasting with the estate’s passionate owner. Next we tackle a lovely climb into the chic and beautiful hilltop town of Cisternino, where you will enjoy sweeping views of the Itria Valley. You will have time for a coffee or gelato to recharge your batteries before continuing your lovely ride along the ridge to La Città Bianca (the white city) of Ostuni, a stunning hilltop jewel with breathtaking sea views. Along the route we will have many options for a delicious lunch, including the opportunity to sample the ubiquitous orecchiette (little ear-shaped) pasta. Then it’s back on the bike to return to your hotel for a well-deserved, relaxing evening.
